Francesca Fini - interdisciplinary artist focusing on new media, experimental cinema and performance art based in Rome. She took part in many artistic festivals in the world including Poland, France, Germany, USA, Brasil, Greece, Russia and Japan. In 2012 she participated in the first Venice International Performance Art Week along with Valie Export, Jan Fabre, Yoko Ono, Marina Abramovic and Hermann Nitsch. She received FONLAD Performance Art Residency in Coimbra in 2013 and in 2014 and 2016 she was artist in residence at Bob Wilson's Watermill Center in New York. Her film “Mother-Rythm” won an award for the most innovative language in creative documentary at Szczecin European Film Festival in 2015. More info at: www.francescafini.com.

Gonçalo Almeida - born in 1986, Santiago do Cacém, Portugal, is currently a film director based in Portugal and the United Kingdom. Gonçalo Almeida studied and worked as a Graphic Designer before moving to London, to study filmmaking at The London Film School. Since his graduation, he has directed a number of films that have been exhibited and awarded at international film festivals. His film “Condrong” won the AVID Poland award for the most intriguing film at Szczecin European Film Festival 2016. More info at: www.goncaloalmeida.net.

Bernd Buder - born 1964 in Berlin (West), studied Political Sciences at the Freie Universität Berlin. 1996-2005 programme director of the Berlin art house cinema “Berliner Filmkunsthaus Babylon.” Curating and programming for several film festivals. 2011-2014 head of the co-production market “connecting Cottbus.” Currently he is consulting and scouting for the Forum section at the Berlin International Film Festival, the “Cinedays” in Skopje, and the Rügen International Film Festival. Since 2015 programme director of the FilmFestival Cottbus. Works also as a film journalist, currently for the German film magazine “Filmdienst.”

 

Bartosz M. Kowalski - director of feature and documentary films, screenwriter, and film editor. Born in Gdynia, he completed his directing studies in Paris and has done a Universal Studios internship at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. Participant of many film festivals, including MFF San Sebastian, Hot Docs Toronto, and BFI London Film Festival. Awarded with prizes at festivals in Kraków, Warsaw, and Koszalin for his films “Wolna Wola,” “Niepowstrzymani,” and “Plac Zabaw.” Nominated for the Paszport Polityki award in 2016 in the “Film” category. Works with the HBO television channel and the Showmax platform.
